My name is Jonathan Silva. I'm originally from Raynham, Massachusettes, but I have been baring my soul here in Orlando for over a year now. Music is the blood in my veins, and I want nothing more then to keep entertaining people. All the while writing the songs that clear my head or heal my heart. I've been blessed with the support of many new friends and many new musicians since I've come here. I've been playing guitar for almost 13 years now, and to me its always been so much more then an intrument. Its become my voice, and my way of saying things I could never say in conversation. Music has always had a special place in my life, and I hope that the music I create touches other people's lives. Anyway, I hope that you dig what I'm doing, and theres much more to come. The best songs I've done haven't been written yet. Peace, Jonathan Silva

Jpat is a singer/songwriter, spoken word artist, a harmonica player, strummer of guitars and mandolins, a writer, and a sometime actor. A mainstay of New Jersey's vibrant music and arts scene, he has been lucky enough to perform in many different settings ranging from sideman to front-man, ensemble member to lead actor, and solo artist to performance artist, all over the U.S. and Europe and as far away as Asia.
His upcoming second book of poetry will be a collaboration with Orlando illustrator, Christian Slade. His "spoken word" shows are spontaneous and emotional and definitely not afraid to bring humor, storytelling, music or even the audience into the act.

THE JUNE CLEAVERS

SANDRA MONDAY

-----I grew up in a small town in north florida called Crescent City, the only child of a sixteen year old mother, from a German immigrant family, and a Native American Father who was a Vietnam vet. I was always considered strange by the other kids, ridiculed in highschool, only to move away at the age of seventeen to pursue a dream in the Theatre. I always loved painting, drawing and writing poetry, I also excelled at dance. I recieved an A.S. in Theatre Cum Laude from Florida School of the Arts, then later went to the University of Central Florida to recieve a BA in Theatre. During this time I spent many evenings in coffee houses meeting and hanging out with other artists such as David Jones, Carl Knickerbocker, and Scramble Camble, it was here I rediscovered my love of the visual medium. After childbirth kept me at home and performance poetry became more difficult, I returned to my first love painting. I consider myself an outsider artist because I do not allow my work to be dictated by pop-art or what is considered to be in style by the interior decorators. I paint to say something, if it looks pretty too that is an added bonus. I paint for me to make sense of my own unconscious mind and hopefully to bring some color to the world.
